Jul. 5th, 2006 07:38 pmwe got broadband on Monday - spiffily fast and, of course, now being on line doesn't block the telephone.
The downside is that our email/news package doesn't work as it requires SMTP not POP3. But don't get me started on that 'cause DH says he checked whether our email would still work and says he was told it would - but he probably made the mistake of assuming the helpdesk bod had even heard of our email/news package!
